Engagement Methodology

How a Nexgenmandate runs.

Every engagement follows a four-phase methodology — Discovery, Mandate, Execution and Handover — designed to leave the principal with a defined, defensible position and a complete written record.

01
Discovery · Weeks 1–2

Define the position. Map the architecture.

Every mandate begins with a written brief. We capture the principal's objectives, the existing structure, jurisdictional exposure and any immovable deadlines. We then map the target architecture in conjunction with engaged legal and tax counsel.

Phase Deliverables
  • Confidential intake brief signed by the principal
  • Existing structure and exposure map
  • Target architecture proposal
  • Indicative timeline and critical-path risks
02
Mandate · Week 3

Scope, sequence and engagement letter.

We translate the agreed architecture into a sequenced workstream: which counsel is engaged, in what order, against what deadlines. The mandate is documented in a fixed-fee engagement letter — no time-and-materials, no scope drift.

Phase Deliverables
  • Project plan with named workstreams and dependencies
  • Counsel and service-provider shortlist with introductions
  • Fixed-fee engagement letter
  • Confidentiality framework across all parties
03
Execution · Weeks 4–N

Project-manage every workstream as one programme.

Nexgen runs the daily programme: weekly status calls, written reporting to the principal, escalation when critical-path items slip, and direct coordination with counsel, banks, regulators, brokers and household services. The principal has one point of contact.

Phase Deliverables
  • Weekly written status report to the principal
  • Daily coordination across all engaged parties
  • Critical-path management and risk escalation
  • Single accountable point of contact
04
Handover · Final week

A defensible position, fully documented.

We close the mandate with a complete file: structural documents, banking access, residency credentials, named ongoing service-provider relationships and a written summary of every decision taken. The principal is left with a defined, defensible position — and an option to retain Nexgen on an ongoing basis.

Phase Deliverables
  • Complete structural and operational binder
  • Named ongoing service-provider relationships
  • Written record of every material decision
  • Optional retained advisory engagement
Indicative Timeline

Most mandates close in 8 to 16 weeks.

Complex multi-jurisdictional restructures may extend further. The timeline is set in writing during Mandate and tracked daily during Execution.

How We Operate

Six operating principles.

The standards every Nexgen mandate is held to — internally and in writing to the principal.

Confidentiality

All engagements operate under written confidentiality. Counsel, banks and service providers are briefed under the same framework.

We do not hold the pen

Nexgen does not provide legal, tax, regulated or investment advice. We project-manage the qualified counsel who do.

Fixed-fee mandates

Engagement letters are fixed-fee against defined scope. No time-and-materials, no surprise invoices, no scope drift.

Critical-path discipline

Every mandate runs against a written critical path. If something slips, the principal hears about it the same day.

Single accountability

One Nexgen partner owns the mandate end-to-end. The principal does not coordinate counsel — we do.

Documented handover

Every mandate closes with a complete file. The principal is left with a defensible, fully recorded position.

Engagement Fees

Fixed fee.Defined scope.

Engagements are accepted at a minimum contract value of USD 200,000. Each mandate is quoted on a fixed-fee basis against the scope agreed in Phase 02. Third-party counsel, regulator and provider fees are billed separately at cost — Nexgen does not earn referral commissions on introductions.

Where a mandate scope changes materially during Execution, a written variation is agreed with the principal before the work proceeds. There are no time-and-materials invoices.

Begin a Mandate

Phase 01 starts with a conversation.

Initial conversations are confidential and obligation-free. If a mandate is the right fit, we move to Discovery within the same week.
